Melvin Toledo
Melvin Toledo: (Nicaragua) was born in a small town in Northern Nicaragua. His interest in art began in High School while drawing characters from the popular manga series Dragon Ball Z. Encouraged by family members, he left his small hometown of Ciudad Antigua in northern Nicaragua to attend the School of Fine Arts in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The following year, he began work as a painter using a mixture of oil and lithographic ink for Decoraciones Hondure as, a family business, which sold his paintings across the country. In 2007, he moved to the United States where he began to paint exclusively in oils. He currently lives with his wife and children in Tucker, Georgia. His work can be seen by appointment and at Gallery 202 in Franklin, Tennessee.
