Avdey Ter-Oganyn
Avdey Ter-Oganyn: (b.1961) in Rostov–on–Don. He is a legend of the Russian contemporary art scene and the founder of the Rostov art group “Art or Death!” Today, he concentrates on homages to famous artists like Vermeer, Matisse, Picasso, or Warhol, whose art he appropriates by re–painting them in his own concept. His works are in the collections of The State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and The State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, as well as private collections in Russia and Europe.
