Helene Swarts

her poems have appeared in Poetry International, The Café Review, Christian Century, and The Hartford Current. She taught poetry at the University of Hartford and the University of Connecticut. She co–authored a play with Karen Douglass which was produced by The Portland Stage Company 15 years ago and is slated for production with a Brunswick, Maine theater company this June.
