Arkadiy Shtypel

Arkadiy Shtypel: is a Russian–Ukrainian bilingual poet, translator, and author. Born in 1944, he spent his childhood and youth in Dnipro, Ukraine. Studying physics at university, he was expelled for attempting to create a samizdat literary journal. He has published several poetry books as well as volumes of translations of classic Russian poetry into Ukrainian.
