Elena Fanailova

Elena Fanailova:  is a poet, critic, and journalist.  She was born in Voronezh, Central Russia, in 1962 and is graduate of the Voronezh Medical Institute.  She has worked as a doctor and as a university teacher. The Russian Versioncollection, translated by Genya Turovskaya and Stephanie Sandler, (Ugly Duckling Presse, New York, 2009), won the “Best Translated Book Award For Poetry” for 2010.
