Elías Knörr
Elías Knörr: is a poet and translator of both Icelandic and Galician. His first projects in Icelandic developed under the personality of Elías Knörr, a pseudonym. His work was selected for the 100th edition of the Poetry Review of the U.K. In Galicia, he’s received the Afundación Poetry Prize, 2014 for his book Bazar de Traidores (Bazaar of Traitors) under the pseudonym of Vaca Insepulta (Unsepultured Cow). His own work is based on the possibilities of words and the search for an inspiration as completely external to the author. He adapts in texts, images, and poetic concepts from other languages, among them and his own artificial language: Lwyma. He is a frequent collaborator at the UNESCO City of Literature in Reykjavík and under the personality of Michaël Drake (1441) he is part of Rauða Skáldahúsið (The Poetry Brothel Reykjavik).
