Michael Basinski

Michael Basinski: born in Buffalo, New York, he is the Curator of the Poetry Collection, State University of New York at Buffalo. His many books of poetry include Of Venus 93 (Little Scratch Pad, 1997) and All My Eggs Are Broken (Blaze VOX Books, 2007). He published more than 100 poetry titles and his work has appeared more than 750 times in literary magazines and journals. He co–founded Moody Street Irregulars: A Jack Kerouac Newsletter, a publication dedicated to the history and cultural influences of Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation. He performs as a solo poet and with the sound ensemble, BuffFluxus.
