Robert Kelly
Robert Kelly: was born in Brooklyn and taught for many years at Bard College. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife, the French translator Charlotte Mandell. He has published many books of poetry and prose, most recently a long poem The Cup; a book of fairy tales, Shadow Talk; Earish, homeophonic translations of Celan; and a collection of new poems, Linden Word (Black Square). His 900–page Collected Short Stories is a new e–book (McPherson & Co.). See interview in this issue.
