Rachael Eastman

Rachael Eastman: graduated from Maine College of Art, later attended the Vermont Studio Center, as has conducted independent studies in Paris, London, and The Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.  Eastman’s ocean dawn marathon and storm rituals helped to incite current bodies of work, which cull from luminist and Hudson River School traditions as they meet the Maine waters.  Eastman maintains small studios from the ocean’s edge in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and from a visual perch in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
