Órfhlaith Foyle
was born in Africa to Irish parents and now lives in Galway, Ireland. Her first novel Belios was published by The Lilliput Press. Her first full poetry collection Red Riding Hood’s Dilemma was published by Arlen House and chosen as book of the year by Scotland On Sunday newspaper. Somewhere in Minnesota, ( Arlen House, 2011) was her debut short fiction collection, and the title story was first published in Faber and Faber’s New Irish Short Stories (2011). Her second short story collection titled Clemency Browne Dreams of Gin ( Arlen House 2014) was chosen as book of the year by The Irish Times newspaper.
