Mirle Freel
Mirle Freel: born and raised in Wyoming he is a retired, full professor of art from The University of Great Falls in Montana with a M.F.A. in photography and minor in drawing, with a M.A. from The University of Iowa in painting and drawing. He has had numerous publications and exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad in photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. He was the filmmaker for “Eco- Ethnology of the High Plains Indians.” He has illustrated the children’s books, Aardvark, Aardvark, How Do You Do! and Zigzag the Rocking Roadrunner. He has received numerous awards and honors and has numerous work in public and private collections.
