Peter Manuel

Peter Manuel:  graduated from the Stonecoast M.F.A. program in January 2005; the following April his Sheltering Pines Press chapbook, (!!) exclamations (!!), was published.  In early 2008, he himself issued a “booklet” version of a nine-page, thirteen-years- in-the-making poem, Big Girls Don’t Cry: My Song of Songs. Last summer he completed an original opera libretto: which his mentor, Baron Wormser, calls an “Ode to Zaftigkeit.”  Manuel is also composing the music to this work.
