Michael Waterman
Michael Waterman: an artist born in 1947 in Portland, Maine. As a child he studied painting with his father, Alfred Waterman, a respected Maine artist. In 1966, he won a national art competition given by Scholastic Magazine and was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Art Students League in New York City. He returned to Portland to work and exhibit throughout the country and abroad. His work is represented by Harbor Square Gallery in Portland, Maine. www.harborsquaregallery.com
