Simon Pettet

Simon Pettet:  was born in England in 1953 and in 1977 moved to New York City’s Lower East Side.  He is the author of Lyrical Poetry, and four other books from Talisman: Selected Poems (1995), More Winnowed Fragments (2005), Hearth (2008), and As a Bee (2014).  He collaborated on two books with the photographer/filmmaker Rudy Burckhardt, Conversations About Everything (1987) and Talking Pictures (1994), as well as editing The Art Writings of James Schuyler, Black Sparrow (1998) and Other Flowers: Uncollected Poems, a posthumous collection of Schuyler’s writing (2010).
