Carolyn Gelland
has published poems in numerous literary journals including The Bitter Oleander, Sou’wester, Iodine Poetry Journal, The Greensboro Review, and RiverSedge. She worked as a Norwegian translator and ran a small art gallery while living in New York City. After marrying, she and her husband, poet Kenneth Frost, moved to rural Maine (Wilton) to focus on writing. Her first book of poems, Four –Alarm House (Main Street Rag), was published in February 2012. Her latest book of poems, Dream –Shuttle (Main Street Rag) was published in 2013. She performs readings of her poems, as well as poems by her late husband, Kenneth Frost.
