Saying Goodbye

Bus to NYC
to see Tuli
in ICU at Downtown Beekman Hospital

He’s peaceful
with now – & – then irregular heart
& non – functioning kidneys

I sing “Morning Morning”
leaning down close to his right ear

& Coby and I sang “The Garden is Open”

I noticed a tear
had formed at the corner
of his right shut eye.

As I left I told him
he was a great genius
& that we all loved him.
