Our Winter 2025 Issue of The Café Review continues our mission of bringing Maine poetry to the world and introducing poetry from around the world to Maine. This special edition is dedicated to the theme of film, with all the poetry exploring and drawing inspiration from the cinematic arts.
The issue features an interview with Tim Seibles conducted by Jefferson Navicky and poetry from Jim Daniels, Angela Rona Estavillo, Thomas Feeney, Jacob Friesenhahn, Kevin Gallagher, Alisha Goldblatt, Twyla M. Hansen, Oz Hardwick, Henry Israeli, Matt Miller, James Reidel, John J. Ronan, Richard Ryal, Tim Seibles, Jane Simon, Vanessa Vie and Ma Yongbo. This issue also contains artwork by Derek Beaulieu, Dimitris Karlaftopoulos, Doug Frati, Deb Garlick, Chris Liberti, Julia Lillard, Dave Wade and Dale Williams and reviews written by Sara Lynn Eastler and Richard Allen Taylor. Also included are reviews of Something So Good It Can Never Be Enough by Shuly Xóchitil Cawood (reviewed by Richard Allen Taylor) and Anthology of Awe & Wonder by Dennis Camire (reviewed by Sara Lynn Eastler).
