Phil Scalia
Phil Scalia: former locomotive engineer, has been a professional photographer for almost 40 years. His work has been published in the New Yorker, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Atlantic Monthly, Harpers, Vogue, National Geographic Traveler, Washington Post, New York Times, The Guardian and many others. Since 2014 he has authored four publications: Studies in Racial Senescence (book, Bokeh Press, 2015), Collecting Scalps with Paul Bley (interview, letterpress, Cherry Valley Editions, 2017), Scratch — Off Nation (self-published book maquette, 2017), and Little Falls But A Lot Goes Down (Oblong Box, magazine, 2018).
