Sigurlín Bjarney Gísladóttir

Sigurlín Bjarney Gísladóttir: (b. 1975) has published four books of poetry and two books of microfiction/prose poetry. Her first novel, Jarðvist (Dwelling In Earth), was published in 2015. Her work appeared in Ég erfði dimman skóg (I Inherited a Dark Forest) alongside six other woman poets. Her most recent book of poetry, Tungusól og nokkrir dagar í maí (Tonguesun and a Few Days in May) was published in 2016 and nominated for the Maístjarna award.
